1st Year Review- A+

Sam's 1st Year- Dad's Highlight Roll

-Hang Time-

First day at the beach.

Meeting "the great" Grandpa Sam and Grandma Louise

Seeing where your parents tied the knot.  :)

You can do it.

Your moves were a little stiff, but you eventually loosened up.

1st time @ the lake.

My Right "left" hand man on GAMEDAY!

The rare hug for Dad.  I'll take it.

Paranoid Dad needed to check on you about every night.  This is usually what I'd find.

With the family in Estes Park, Colorado

You could make it as a mountain man too

Yes son, your doctor is a cowboy.

At this moment, I realized you were getting big, FAST

Sweet Dreams Buddy!

There are similarities.

This photo made my day.

This is how you roll in the snow.

This is living

Our favorite spot in the world!

Watching you with dogs is the best.  You haven't met one you don't like.

Always a highlight to your day- STAIRS!

Lots of time in the high chair this year.  This is where growing happens.

A favorite stop at the park.

First few steps!

A MUST to stop at every pole you see.  They love you too.

Ah- heaven on earth.

1-2-3 Blastoff

THE BIG 1

It's ok.  Cupcakes are nothing to be afraid of.

Baby

I DON'T KNOW, ALL I KNOW IS--- I can't stop thinking about this little guy on the way. Every Dad to be probably has this moment. I guess this is mine.

I'm XCITED.

Honestly, I'm having a hard time sitting down. I've watered the lawn, detailed the car, vaccumed the house, strapped down the car seat, swept the kitchen floor, washed couch cushions...what, yes...washed couch cushions.

Embrassing behavior.

I thought nesting was for Moms.  I even asked Ryan if she wanted me to tidy up the house.  I've never said that before.  Masculinity seems to be out the window.

Jaw-dropped at the place we are in life.

I hoped and prayed for years for a woman like this.    She lights up my world.

Not a clue of what is ahead, but going in WIDE EYED

April 26 - 7:30 AM  Arriving at Hoag Hospital -
Needed to make sure if this is not just a test.....

Dr. Anne Kent says "this is the real deal."
Water had broke at this point.  Says we can't leave.
Fine with Dad as I know we are in good hands.

The views from our room weren't bad either.

Walking the halls to crank things up!  She wouldn't stop walking...

Then she slowed down.
I wanted to say, Labor isn't for babies, but that didn't work.  Labor is seriously not for wimps!

1 Samuel 1:27
I prayed for this child, and the Lord granted my request.

 Samuel- God Heard

SAMUEL TYLER WALL
Born April 26 - 9:04 PM
7lbs 5 oz

I think he is perfect.  He's looked me in the eyes a few times and we are definitely already buds!

Mom = Amazing!
Ryan is doing great.  She kept her cool the whole time.  We both couldn't talk when they put Sam in her arms.  Cried like "babies".  :)

Happy Family!

Unbelievable- We both feel like we have just been given the world.

As I sit here Ryan and Sam are sleeping and I can hardly type cause my eyes are filled with tears.  Pretty safe to say I will never be the
same.

Here are a few more of my favorites---

-So any more advice on parenthood?  Anyone?????-

Looks like these two will get along great.

Pretty sure we have Grandma approval

Let's make this official-  Loosen the grip though lady- sheesh!

Sammy Boy

Rise and shine son-  time to experience your first morning.

Now I get what all those parents were saying about no sleep.

Let's get outta here-  Peace out hospital!

-Home for the 1st time-

Wow- I sure do have one amazing Mom!

So, who are you????

Very tasty dude cake from Creighton
